Bar Boele is the international hangout spot of the VU campus, the place to meet people, get inspired, catch up with friends, or grab drinks after a theatre or film night. There’s also plenty of room for live performances, exhibitions, festivals, and other special events!

Rialto VU is a brand-new cinema with four state-of-the-art screening rooms. The programming at Rialto focuses on non-Western cinema, but also features beautiful American and European films.

At Griffioen you’ll find all kinds of theatre, from stand-up comedy to plays, music and dance, from big names to new talent. We also offer courses in everything from dance and music to mindfulness, acting, writing, photography, painting, and much more.
